H.R. 3320 To direct the Secretary of State to develop a strategy to regain observer status for Taiwan in the World Health Organization - Passed!

WHO Taiwan Protest

Taiwan's exclusion in the World Health Organization not only endangers its 23 million citizens, risks lives across Asia and beyond to the United States. The Chinese government's decision to put peoples lives behind their petty politics is shameful and must be called out. We support H.R. 3320 to direct the US Government to help regain Taiwan's inclusion in WHO activities.

For a good primer on why this is so important, read "Taiwan's Vice President Talks to TIME About the Global Health Risks Arising From the Island's Isolation."

Thank you ACT supporters for helping to urge members of Congress to support this bill, it passed on January 9, 2018. See the govtrack.us page for more info!
